I stole away from work Saturday afternoon long enough to catch part of the double header here in Stephenville between Tarleton State and SE Oklahoma. It was the first really nice Saturday afternoon, following the Blizzards of 2010 and the team did not disappoint.

During the second game there was a series where TSU really rattled Oklahoma’s catcher (images later this week - baseball, the contact sport). Anyhow, shortly there after Coach Conger called for a home plate steal - a true gutsy play, rarely seen and even more rarely earned.

TSU outfielder Andrew Wolfe is caught here in mid-flight as he attacks the plate and successfully steals home. To put this in perspective…..it was done only twice last year in the Majors.
